Window Pane Afghan Pictures

I'll redo this later, but for now I just needed to post these pics in a place where everyone can see them.

This is the one I made. It was taken shortly after I started it and the colors didn't quite come out right in the photo but I haven't had a chance to take a new picture now that it's finally done.

I must have hit your name instead of a thread you started and it took me here--I'm glad it did.

That's a beautiful afghan, Foots....is it knitted or crocheted??  Wonder if it would be a good way to get rid of some of the half skeins of yarn I have.

WOW, I forgot all about this lol!

I did finish the afghan for the most part. It's long enough to tuck under your feet, reach up to your chin and wide enough that you don't get a draft coming in from the side lol. I could probably use it as a coverlet for a twin bed instead of an afghan lol.

It's all knitted Mirry. It's supposed to have a black scalloped edge crocheted all the way around but I didn't feel like doing it.

Renee, it's a perfect project for leftover yarn because there's no color pattern except for the black. I've made about 6 of these and even used the pastel verigated baby yarn for the whole thing because each completed row looked different from the one before it.

Susan, when I was picking out the yarn I was on the phone to my sister and she was telling me what colors were in her sofa so I used those with the intention of making it for her. When dh discovered it was long enough to cover him completely, he appropriated it lol.

I'll have to take a new picture of it and hopefully the colors will come out truer.
