Hi I'm boronte, from London, England. I've just taken up a subscription to Taste of Home and have been looking through some of the posts and pages of this brilliant website.
I came across this page which talked about 'tailgating' which caught my eye. http://www.tasteofhome.com/plus/2007/07_Jul/tailgating-tips.aspx Can someone explain what it's all about? In England, tailgating is when you drive too close to the car in front and look likely to cause an accident because you're either a) upsetting the car in front, or b) too close to stop without hitting the car in front if the car stops suddenly!
I keep asking questions I know, but it's fascinating for us over here to get an insight into life in another country apart from what we see on the news. This is real life - as in proper everyday stuff, not just the major events that hit the headlines. Thanks to you all for a great magazine and even more wonderful food and recipes! And thanks also for the help!
