There is a very special group of cooks at my church in Topeka, Kansas
who gather every Tuesday to prepare lunch for adults with mental
disabilities. They have provided this ministry, called "Lunch Bunch,”
for over a decade. The special adults who come for lunch every week
can always expect a delicious, hot lunch served on real dishes with
healthy helpings of hymn singing around the piano and fellowship with
caring people. The cooks seem to have as much fun serving the food as
the guests do eating it.
