I haven't blogged in forever! I do have a good excuse. My family has expanded by one within the last 5 weeks. We welcomed our second son Brendan and things haven't been the same since. I also have a busy 7 year old, and with summer being here it's hard to keep everyone entertained.
I have been an at-home transcriptionist for the last year and a half, so I've been trying to squeeze a little bit of work in between all the feedings, lack of sleep and regular house chores. I've been only slimly successful with that! Love being at home with my kids and wouldn't change it.
Amidst all the baby hub-bub we've recently purchased another house and will be moving within two weeks. Our tiny two-bedroom ranch just wasn't cutting it anymore after the baby came along! We were fortunate that our home has also sold, which is sometimes difficult in our small town. More young people keep moving back and are looking for larger living quarters, not smaller homes. However, we were lucky and now I'm trying to keep all the dates, facts and figures straight between closing on two different homes--all on crazy sleep schedules. What doesn't kill us will make us stronger, right! Or add more gray hairs to my 33 year old head!
