April

Hello again from the Healthy Cooking staff!

It's been about a month since you received the premiere issue of Taste of Home Healthy Cooking. We've heard from a number of you, and we truly appreciate your feedback! In fact, based on the response to the Custom Fit article on Celiac Disease (p. 56), we've started a new online community group called the Gluten-Free Zone. Join now to share recipes and tips that support a gluten-free lifestyle!

This newsletter is your mid-issue update, and we're happy to share some great new features to supplement the magazine. To keep a "spring" in your step, check out the five terrific side dishes and the gorgeous berry desserts. Both feature fresh spring produce with a lighter touch.

If you're looking to shake up your suppertime routine, you'll love the five new chicken recipes, each with 225 calories or less. For more info on making the souffles on pages 28-30, watch our easy video with a step-by-step guide. And, if slimming down for summer is on your agenda, make sure to read the tips on controlling hunger.

We're hard at work on your June/July issue, so you'll want to stay tuned. And, of course, don't forget to visit the Healthy site we sponsor. It's updated frequently—you don't want to miss a thing!

Enjoy and happy cooking,

The Editors

Enjoy your magazine Healthy Cooking. Wish someone could instruct me on how to use the Taste of Home Healthy Cooking Plus web site. Have tried but have totally created a mess. Using a computer is a new thing for me. Posting blogging etc---I don't understand.

Maybe not called a web site---?  Called page---?

I loved the magazine and plan on trying many of the recipes in the April issue.  The only disappointing thing for me was that only some of the recipes had the nutritional value listed.  Foe people trying to cook the lower fat recipes it presents a problem.  Could you add this information for all recipes or be able to access it on the Healthy Cooking website?  Just a suggestions.
