Traveling Cookbook

HI ,

Well our HOG ( Harley Owners Group) motorcycle chapter had it's annual Pig-Out Poker Run.

3 of our members volunteer their homes to be a breakfast, lunch or dinner stop. The food is paid out of chapter funds and the last stop for dinner is usually a local BBQ caterer.

Breakfast has been muffins, fresh fruit, cresants, butter & jam. Hot food is bacon, sausage, pancakes, eggs & potatoes, gravy and salsa. LOTS of coffee & juice.

Last year my son & another chapter friend ran all the chairs & tables from one stop to the next.

We absolutly had an appetite. Last year was BBQ burgers for lunch with all the trimmings and some nice cold ice cream. This year it was teriyaki chicken.

Dinner is BBQ, with beans, salad, rolls and pleanty of beverages. Always we have a "Pig Out" cakes & ice cream to end the day.

Next stop : September Harvest Pacific northwest style.

Bye for now.
