I had a great time meeting all the ladies for the first time, and we all loved the door prizes. I think I got the best one, fresh apricots from Maxine's garden. The food was wonderful and I talked about it so much to my husband that we drove up the following weekend to try it again. Although, looking at those pictures of me inspired me to get back on a diet! Yikes, I can't believe I've gained so much weight. I am certainly looking forward to the luncheon in the fall. Julia B.

Joan--had a great time Saturday. It was good to see everyone. I will try and get the new mailing list together soon. Don't know about the "cookbook", but maybe will have a preview ready before the next gathering. (Keep your fingers crossed on that one--LOL!!)

I made the enchiladas from the April/May issue for dinner yesterday. They were delicious! Being from Texas (and now living in Oklahoma) I have made enchiladas often, but these were by far the best ones I have ever made! I will definitely be sharing this recipe!!
