Finally................the day has come to a winding end!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From the time EVERY member of this household has woken up, we have been going non-stop. The soccer games have come and won. 3 wins this morning (tap, tap, my kids and myself on the back). Then, our last soccer game this afternoon. Stephen's team lost (1-0), but they played their hearts out and it was very competitive. I am very proud of my guy.
When we got home, Sean, my eldest, was complaining about aches and pains in his upper body. He looked pale and his eyes were glazed. Well, out came the thermometer......and it read 101.6F. Yup! Flu bug has crept back into our house!!!!! So, now, I have my toddler down with some form of a cold (runny nose, phlem in the throat and slight coughing). Sean is down for the count. Tomorrow, we'll see who else gets it...................they will! That's how it works around here.
Have a few things to get done tonight..........hopefully, my energy level can stay up there, but I feel that I will lose the battle with myself tonight. I'm leaning towards a movie, my pyjamas, a nice cup of coffee and a blanket thrown over myself. Noah and Tequila at my feet and Maui (my cat) in my arms. That's how people find me watching tv in my household. If my little one is up, then she is the one in my arms, plus the cat.
