This blog is to share my viewspoints about being a PWD (Person With Disabilities) and the Disability Community.

For starters, I am concerned about the ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act). "Why?", you might ask? It is because the ADA is slowly being weakend by the US Supreme Court bit by bit. "How?", you might ask? It is because the ADA is being slowly restricted in terms of who is actually covered and is given protection by the ADA.

People need to fully support the ADA. People need to contact their elected Congressmen and encourage them to fully support the ADA.

Without the ADA, the Disability Community will be in trouble. The Disability Community is fighting to make the ADA stronger instead of weaker. Please pray that the Disability Community will acheive their ADA objectives.

April Is Autism Awareness Month

The month of April is "Autism Awareness Month".

For starters, I have an only child who is an adult that was born with Autism and Mental Retardation. It has been a very interesting journey to raise a child that has Autism and Mental Retardation. Autism is not a Mental Illness like various people think that Autism is. Autism is a misunderstood Disability.

Since April is "Autism Awareness Month", I encourage everybody to read and learn about Autism and to raise awareness about Autism.
