A delicious bite of Almond Chicken with Apricot Sauce (Taste of Home Apr/May 08, p. 32) brought back a flood of delicious memories from the Taste of Home Slice of California Tour that I took last fall! One of the fascinating stops on this tour is Mari and Jim Rossi's apricot farm. I brought home several jars of their flavorful preservesand used some in preparing the fruity sauce for this easy, healthy chicken dish. It was wonderful, and so is this special tour set up especially for Taste of Home readers.
