Obviously I'm posting a question here but I just tried to answer a question about finding diabetic tea biscuits....when I tried to reply, I got a box that said something to the effect that I wasn't wasn't allowed - either the forum didn't exist (since I was in one of the forums, that doesn't make sense) or I wasn't allowed access. I'm not a real frequent poster but I have contributed to some posts. This is the 2nd time I've been denied...I was also not allowed to answer someone in the church chat.
Do you have to be a member of that specific group to reply? I've run into that a couple times myself and that was the only thing I could think of.
I wondered about not being a member...when I was denied access to responding to someone in church chat...I had never posted there before so I thought maybe that was the problem. But today, when I was denied access, it was in a forum where I've posted before. Maybe it's a computer glitch? Or, maybe the person looking for the diabetic tea biscuits was in a forum I haven't posted to before? Not sure, I was just surprised...this forum is one I've never posted to or started a subject in but I'm here...so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Yes, in any of the Groups, you must first join. Just go the the Group page and click on Join This Group at the top of the page.
Thank you for the information...I don't remember ever officially 'joining' any of the groups. I started posting in '05, so that was before the board underwent changes.
There are two sections, Community Forums and Groups Forums. Anyone logged in can post in Community Forums. You have to join the Groups Forums to post in them.
