Here are a few suggestions, hope I helped:

    - (to serve 1) combine peanut butter, confectioners' sugar, gramhn cracker crumbs, a little spreadable cream cheese, chopped peanuts and/or crushed pretzels. Add some milk to create a workable consistency. Shape into a ball and put in fridge until firm. * can also spoon some melted chocolate on top.

    - Marinate 1 1/2-2 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts in equal parts honey, olive oi, and balsamic vinegar for 30 minutes. Cook chicken in a large buttered skillet until cooked through with 3 T. butter, 1 T. dried basil, some dried oregano and rosemary, salt, and pepper. Serve with warmed spaghetti sauce. Serves 6.

Look in the classified ads and  yard sales. Maybe you can find a counter top convection oven for very little money. Check out thrift shops, sometimes they have them. My friend found a larger counter top convection oven at a thrift shop for $5.00 and it was just like new.

If your town has a local high school operated "Local Access" TV channel where people can post ads you may be able to find something. Our channel like that is sposored by the local radio station and is TV channel 13. They keep your ad running 24/7 for two weeks for $1.00 ( ONE dollar). You could post an add that you WANT to buy a counter top convection oven for a reasonable price.

You can also look in the paper for auction notices and call the auctioneer or the owners of what is going to be auctioned and ask if the auction will have a counter top oven in it.

Folks in every town get a FREE paper( either in the mail or hand delivered on your lawn)  that has nothing but ads in it. Those used to be called the Nickel Ads because ads cost 5 cents p word ( most likely 5 cents per letter now) but the papers are free and have LOTS of ads for just about everything people want to sell or want.

Some radio stations also do 1/2 or 1 hr programs once a week where people call in and list things for sale or what they want to buy and that is free. The programs are sponsored by local merchants.

If you're a thrift store shopper, keep an eye open there.  I often see like new toaster ovens in our area, from small to very large; some that would work well for even a small turkey.
