RE: secret ingredient
I use one packet of Sazon (Con Azafran) seasoning by Goya in 1lb. of ground beef when making hamburgers.
I've used it in the chicken broth when I make Tortilla Soup too.
Look for it in the ethnic section (Mexican) of your grocery store.

I love Nature's Seasoning by Morton and add it to nearly everything (not desserts of course).

Hey Gadjet,
I use Sason too, it's great just to enhance your other seasonings in Mexican Food.
When I make home made Ravioli I add a pinch of cinnamon in the Racotta cheese.

RE: secret ingredient
A secret from my "Italian" Mom. When making spaghetti sauce, use a dash of each of the following spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and allspice and then let it simmer. It takes the "acid" taste out of the tomatoes!

RE: secret ingredient
When making pancakes with Bisquick I add a little sugar and vanilla. I also make some with cinnamon. My kids love them.
