What is the difference between a pizzelle maker and a krumkake baker? And a waffle iron?

The grids!!  I have a small waffle maker with removeable grids so it has waffle grids and pizzelle grids. I am not sure about a krumkake baker.

All the Swedes and Norwegians in ND now use the electric Pizeele makers to make their Krumkakes.

Actuallu, the design in Krunkake was a bit "deeper" but it is a minute difference and does not seem to make any difference to even the most die-hard Scandinavaians around here.. Just a few of the old gals here who still have a single Krumkake iron make a few on top of the stove but it is such a slow process 98% of the folks use the electric Pizelle makers.. Unless you want to be REAL authentic I wouldn;t worry about it.

I don't know any Swedes or Norwegians who use the pizzelle makers.  There are electric Krumkake bakers that look just like (same manufacturer) the pizzelle makers until you open them & look at the pattern.
