Help! I had a West Bend Breadmaker given to me and there's no manual. I have bread mixes, but have no idea about what to do after I put the ingredients in or how long it'll take to do it's thing before we have a hot loaf of bread. The breadmaker was made in 1998 and it says America's Best II and is a 2# one. Anybody with the same one by chance?

I gave this info to kitchenmann on another chat....the website is www.westbend.com or the phone # is 262-334-6949. You should be able to get something thru an email or phone call to West Bend!!

Thanks! I think that's what I'll do. Had hoped to find an online manual or something, being the impatient person I am. : )
I am trying a loaf without an operator's manual as I type this, so we'll see how it worked. Thanks for your reply!

Here's a link to the page on the West Bend website where you can download e-copies of their bread machine manuals for free:

how long it'll take to do it's thing before we have a hot loaf of bread.

I'm totally confused by this.  Don't all WestBend bread makers have a display that counts down how long until the baking process is done?

Back in those days folks cooked their food, not built a shrine to it.
