One of the platters I made for my Christmas dinner was a variety of veggies, cheese cubes, bits of ham, etc., and I didn't want the juices from the olives that would also be on the plate to invade any of the surrounding cheeses, so I used the TOP of a class butter dish, turned it upside down and it made a perfect holder for green olives. Then, in the bottom half of the butter dish, I arranged some of the much larger Greek black olives, and some garlic stuffed olives. Perfect.
