HELP! They will not go away, everyone in the midwest has them, but I need a natural organic way to get rid of them.....I just had thyriod surgery so I have to stay away from chemicals.l....If anyone can help with any ideas, i would be SO Grateful!
Why get rid of them? They are beneficial bugs that will prey on insects that do harm to desirable vegetation, If they're in your house, just take a disposable cup and a card orsomething and scoop them up and take them outdoors. Had a bunch of lady bugs in our basement at times and thats what we've done with them.

Now do you want to hear about the devastating tent worm invasion we had last year? Although those things didn't come into the house on their own, they did attach to clothing and walk in with people and animals. They coated the deck railings and walkways and streets. They ate the foliage bare. Sometimes it's like the twilight zone around here.
Yes, these bite and if you step on them they stink! Thank you! Glad to hear i am not the only one that does not want the company....And sorry, NO, sorry, don't want to hear about the worms, that would just do me in, lol......I do vaccumm them up, I was going to get a outside bug zapper and put it inside, but thought that would be kind of gross, but I may still do it!.....Planning on selling soon, have to find a place without these little mean things!
I HATE THOSE "GENERIC" LADY BUGS, I vacuum them up also. They are horrid. Don't get me started on how much I hate them. And YES they bite and stink.
The most precious jewels you'll ever have around your neck are the arms of your children♥
This is a no win situation. The Asian Beetle was imported to eat Aphids on soybeans. Most soybean farmers are now spraying for Aphids but the Asian Beetles are becoming more numerous. In the midwest they are an epidemic. My family who live on farms are constantly vacuuming them but be sure to empty the vac as they smell.
I LOVE Ladybugs and have not seen any for couple of years. I HATE these pseudo ladybugs!!! I have a lamp that uses a halogen bulb, the kind that shines up, and the Kamakazi fools would fry on the bulb and smell like burning insulation. Kept me really alert for fires for a while until I realized what was happening. And don't leave a kitchen cabinet door open. They are dirty little things. I've had bites on my body and couldn't figure out what happened. It seems these little creatures will end up on the inside of your clothes and that's when you can get bit. Mary

Take them outside? what r u trying to do potty train them? They are pests and an annoyance inside! the smell, stain everything yellow and they stink! If i were to waste my time by scooping them up and taking them outside that is ALL i would be doing!
I don't think she's talking about the lady bugs that people buy & hope they stay in their garden. Believe she's talking about a pest-variety that showed up in the midwest several years ago. They invade the house, attach themselves to mailboxes, exterior areas like that....smell awful & some people are allergic to them. They aren't the 'nice' ones that will protect your gardens by eating pests.
Thanks Lynn, no the "nice" ones are not the ones i'm talking about, if they are in your house by swarms they are not the nice ones.....Luckily i have not seen any for the past season, so i'm very hopeful that MAYBE it is over, which i doubt! but i can always hope
