Hi, I am located in NYC. We recently lost power due to Hurricane Sandy. I put eggs in the freezer after a while to keep them cold, however during the night we got power restored and the eggs froze. Can I thaw them in the fridge and then use them or should I throw them away? Thanks
Leave them in the freezer and thaw them one at a time as you use them. They should be fine. Usually, eggs can be frozen for up to 6 months (some say to a year). But, don't let them thaw today and use them next week.
By the way, I hope you know that millions around the country have been praying for those of you in the path of Sandy. Blessings and we hope for a quick "recovery" of your wonderful city.
