  • What's a good remedy for "lie bumps" on tongue?
No - I haven't been telling lies, but I do have a few bumps on the end of my tongue that are driving me crazy! My mother always called them lie bumps - what do you call them?

Anyone does anyone know what will help them go away?

Actually I get those when I eat too much sugar or acidic foods. Try rinsing your mouth with warm salt water.

Drink lots of water, when I get these little bumps I have eaten too much spice or salt. Sometimes I put "Kanka"on them. You can get it at the drug store. It numbs it and eventually they dry up.

My only thought is that it could be an infection of some type -- use some listerine or rinse your mouth with peroxide

    Owww! Pull them off? Owwww!

I bit one that was near the end of my tongue and it hurt like the dickens, but after that it didn't hurt as much.

If you can get past the pain of biting it I'd suggest that, otherwise I think milk would make it feel better. Or the Kanka...something to numb it.
