  • Where to buy Whole Wheat Berries
Does anyone know where I can buy wheat berries to grind my own wheat. I live in S.W. lower Mi.
I ground my wheat years ago, but the co-op I got it from went out of business.

I get mine from a feed store. Not much choice around here except go to the next biggest town. I keep the wheat berries in the freezer. We like to sprout them too for salads.

I never thought of going to a feed store. I'll check into it.

I get mine straight from the farmer. UNTREATED seed works great, but it MUST be untreated.

I found a place where I can get wheat berries!!!! It's $15.75 for 50# and it's about 20 miles from here. I'm anxious to start grinding my wheat again.

Good! I am glad that you found a supply. I live in a farming community so it is not hard for me to get some, but I don't know where one might look in a city.

    Enjoy your home-ground wheat!
