  • What can I make with frozen meatballs?
I bought a package of fully cooked meatballs (1# 2oz) and don't want to make the same old tired Spa. and meatball. Is there maybe a casserole dish or Crock Pot one I could make.

If you use the Recipe Finder for "meatballs" you'll find dozens and dozens of them! :-)

Throw them in a crock pot with a jar of spaghetti sauce and a jar of BBQ sauce. Let them cook on low all day and serve them on sub rolls with mozz and parm cheese melted on top or just eat them by themselves!

We like to make meatball subs. Cook your meatballs with some spaghetti sauce and spoon on to hoagie buns and top with mozzarella cheese. I like to put the sandwiches (with the cheese exposed) in the oven for just long enough to melt the cheese or microwave to melt. Something different and tasty.

There's a sweet and sour meatballs recipe on there that uses gingersnaps. I've made it and it's delicious!

You could also make swedish meatballs. Put meatballs in a baking dish and sprinkle a pkg. of dry onion soup over the meatballs. Pour 2 cans of cr of mushroom soup over top and 1 can milk and bake. When I make this I usually make homemade meatballs, but since you already have some you are a step ahead.

You could also mix them with the spaghetti sauce and serve them on sub rolls for meatball subs. Add some cheese to each one and you're done! Hmmm, now I might have to do that soon!!

Ooops, guess marasmom already suggested that. Didn't see it before I posted.

I had a meatball sub recently on my visit to the Windsor Casino in Canada. They used a sub bun but had green peppers and onions on the bun and then topped it off with the meatballs that were in spaghetti sauce but they also had added some pepperoni to the sauce and then had the cheese on top and popped it under the broiler for a few seconds. Delicious and the pepperoni added a little zing to the sandwich. Very tasty. Beverly

I have some jalapeno pepper jelly. I'm going to dilute it with water and cook the meatballs in it.

I just gave away my most current Paula Deen magazine, but she had either an meatball casserole or meatball lasagna...

I've put them in soups, had hoagie's,layer them with shredded cole slaw, sliced potatoes and add some chicken broth, canned tomatoes, italian seasoning, bay leaf and dot with butter, salt and pepper bake in oven till all potatoes are tender.
