  • ???Freezing Sweet Rolls???

I got the kitchen cleaned yesterday and now am ready to start doing some of my baking for the holidays.  I make both cinnamon rolls and orange sweet rolls.  I am thinking of making them ahead of time and freezing them.  The question is, can I frost them and then freeze them or should I leave them plain and frost them when I am ready to use them?

    Anyone have any suggestions?

Freeze them, thaw them, pop them in the oven to warm (10 minutes or so) and THEN frost them. They will taste like you just baked them.

I freeze shaped, unbaked rolls. Then get them out of the freezer, put them in the frig overnight to thaw, let rise in the morning and bake. They are perfect!  I cover the pans of rolls with plastic wrap and then wrap in foil when I put them in the freezer. I've done this for years with both dinner rolls and sweet dough rolls.
