    I admit that one had me stumped. 300 + could NOT be one of the 3 I know:

    Fahrenheit, Celsius and Reaumur. Still have the latter on an old thermometer from the  1860s.

    It had to be another and sure enough, 100+ would equal about 370 degrees on the Kelvin scale. That weather forecaster tried ti to scare folks but hope he will explain later.

    I lived in Richmond and Charlottesville and, once you factor in the humidity, it definitely feels that hot!

    Adria, maybe and maybe not it was an April Fools forecast. In April it would not be close to 100 or over even in that part of the country. Look in "just Ask" for temperature scales and look at the forecast  again. I am sure it was meant as a joke but doubt it was on April 1st. Would not be surprised if they announced later the temp. was measured on a different scale..

    Of course I am only guessing.........

    All things considered, since one can not possibly forecast when a volcano will erupt, causing temps to reach 400 degrees from the lava, the whole 'godzilla shows up and saves us from the super duper world threatening storm' pretty much seals the deal that this was all a big joke, regardless of what scale the temperature was measured at.

    The last couple weeks have sure felt like that was our forcast!  Coulda been April fools, it was up to 88 a couple days in April in Ohio, we're not too far away from Richmond VA!

    if you all will click on the top line....hot weather in Richmond...it will take you to the "FAKENBC" you tube .....and you will see that he is a CBS weather guy....so joke all around...
