Don't Put All Your Eggs In One Omelette Day
National Sugar Cookie Day
If your ducks lay BIG eggs, you don't need many to make an omelette.
Do you prefer the soft sugar cookies or the crisp sugar cookies?
At least with crisp sugar cookies you can have fun with sHapEs
PB continues to run slow and freeze up my computers so I am going to finish this thread so I can close the PB tab. It seems like i will have to continue to start the thread the previous eve. I want to tackle the NY Times Sunday crossword puzzle anyway.

It's begining to cool down a bit here. The ducks have been keeping to the shady spots. They were sitting under the picnic table, the vehicles and the trees. DH had lots of big dish tubs filled with water so they could bathe while he was cleaning the pools.
Good (enough) Morning
Thanks for posting these photos!
Have a great day.
Silence can never be misquoted.
Good morning. Gary just left for fishing so the morning is mine and I really don't feel like doing all that much yet. Casey is under the desk curling up on my foot getting ready for a little nap. It is amazing how young she picked up on that morning nap thing.
Nan sometimes GOOD enough is okay. Once again I forget the date of your tests. I know you are soooo looking forward to them. So, it really the date really doesn't matter I'm praying for answers and results for you.
Way back when I used to make cookies I had a recipe that was my grandmother's for sugar cookies. It was a roll out and you could do anything you wanted to the cookies. My very favorite was plain and dunked into coffee. The only thing that I ever dunked.
Guess I had better get going. I'm starting a Christmas wall hanging to give to Gary's aunt. If I don't get going on it believe it or not there is no way that I can get it done by her birthday which is the end of November.
Hugs and prayers and treats and scratches for all.
Have a good day.
Today my oldest grandson is 22 - doesn't seem that long ago when I was 22.
My DGD, the sister of the birthday boy, was up before me this morning Today is college orientation day for her. She will be meeting her mother there. She is enrolled in Bloomsburg U and will be living off campus...I shall miss her when she leaves. It's been a little over 2 years since she came to live with me.
Today I am going to make my own mayonnaise - I haven't made it in years but the price of mayo in the stores, even the store brand is outrageous. I googled how to home pasteurize eggs and it does not seem that difficult. Never worried about salmonella in eggs years ago, but even though I am using my own eggs from my own chickens, better safe than sorry.
Happy Monday!
