This week we are in the main bathroom and another room...your office?

clean the cobwebs from the ceiling and the vent fan.  In the office, look to the left of your computer and clean up some of the junk!

Cookie, is your dd a blonde with long, straight hair?  I saw a girl working at the John D classic...also saw another one with her hair in a pony tail, or such.

Also this week...swish and swipe...actually, this month.

Cookie, our gd lives in Cedar Rapids, not too far from you!  We sure miss her now that she is gone.

Tomorrow I may not get on early, we have a bridge invitational, and I have to work.  Made some lemon bars to take to it.

Bumpin' - gotta go to work.

Alphy, DD was working in the "compound" in a refrigerated truck kitchen, so you wouldn't have seen her. DH and I were out there yesterday with my DB and my stepson.  Oh was it hot!  We were sitting at the 18th green when Zach Johnson won on the second sudden death hole.  It was great!  We are so proud of him.

Feel free to drop some lemon bars at my office!

Have laundry started, dishes soaking, showered and dressed. Talk about hot, it's 88 already and it isn't quite noon , yet.

At least I'm showered and dressed today. Usually am not, even found a pair of tongs in closet, which I straightened out a bit. Am going to start w bathroom for the HB, than the rest of the hse. Office area on left is pretty clean, now the right, will have to do some cleaning and getting rid of things.

Dgs came home yesterday and dd was in a mood and was short w T, dgs father, I've told her that she's going to have to interact w him for the rest of their lives so don't make it any more strained than it has to...am I wrong??

I wonder how db is doing, may call dm and find out, yet today and to see how she's fareing also.

TUESDAY   Today we are going to take a
hot soapy rag and wash these dirty spots off the door facings, switch
plates and door knobs. They have become invisible to us. Now don't
obsess about this. You don't have to do the whole door.  As for your office, clean the right side of your computer desk!

Dh has his surgery done. He's kindof tired. Suppose to rest after for 24 hrs. So that's great.

Well, have to work on the right side of puter, alot of stuff on that side...

Db is in the hospital up here, but will go and see him this weekend, he might've had a stroke. Hate to think of that. Maybe be better than.

Hope dgs goes over to dd's bf again tonite.  Am wiped and need rest. He drives me nuts, sometimes.

Just got the bathroom done yesterday, so will have to work on the rest of the hse. tom.

WEDNESDAY  clean the front of your vanity in the bathroom...clean smudges, etc.  Then clean the computer screen!

Played bridge today, and tonight had chicken parmesan and spaghetti...have leftovers, fine with me.

Cookie, I probably say YOU on TV on Sunday then, as we were watching as Zack finished...wasn't that a fun finish.

tomorrow morning the computer 'kid' is coming...I have no sound.  oh, well.

Yeah, Alphy I was in the front row of the bleachers behind the 18th green!  I was the one fanning herself with a hand fan!  Oops, there might have been a few of us doing that.  I was wearing an orangeish-pinkish bright top with white shorts and a white Cubs hat.  Actually, you were smart watching it on TV, we were absolutely sweltering in the heat but didn't want to leave and miss the happy ending.

Linda, glad your DH has his other surgery done.  Hope things were nice and quiet around your place this evening for him.

I could use a computer "kid" around here too.  I'm so annoyed that I can't print.  I have a perfectly nice printer sitting there going to waste.

 Should go keep DH company, he's watching the Cubs.  Everyone have a nice evening.

We're already back from seeing eye dr., than we went to Walgreen's to get my prescriptions and to get cheaters for dh, so he can read. Can see better, but can't see well to read anything, like he reads alot...

It's cloudy today, rained out as we were leaving BK where we ate breakfast. Got wet around here, I'm sure the farmers r glad if it rained there. It can rain here and not in the next block around here. 

Aquatenial is going on this week in Mlps. and in a week or so the county fair is coming here, than the state fair, OMG than fall, which is great, but than winter...time is flying. G it's thundering again and raining good, at least don't have to water garden, plants...

alphy, hope that tournament went well, cookie, wish I could send my #1 to help u out, maybe u need to check the plug ins, mine acts up all the time, and I just keep on pushing print. Lot of times I get more than 1 printout tho.

make a list of things you are running low on in the bathroom;
Shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, toothpaste. You know what your use.
Take inventory and see what you need.

Have been up since around 1 this morning. Something woke me up and couldn't get back to sleep. I'm going to the dr. this morning because I guess they have to make sure my blood pressure, is aok to reperscribe some more bp pills. Oh well...

Got half of the dishes done, and will go downstairs and put the last load in the dryer. It rained out pretty good so cooled off a bit, in the 80's yesterday. Going to get hot this weekend. yippee. 

I've put shampoo, soap bars, tooth paste into the cabinet that I had put in the bathroomA. I found out had 4,5 tooth paste tubes, 1/2 dozen bars of soap, a few extra bottles of shampoo, so I'm good in that area. Now to get some new towels, ours r getting raggy and will give them to the humane society. they can use them for the animals.

Haven't been able to call my nephew because he works nights and has odd hours, so I can find out how db is doing. Hope things r aok and will get a chance to see him this weekend.

I've been looking at this part of the hse. outside and been running thru my head, what I can do w it, boy r there some plans, ideas. Hate it that I get an idea and can't do anything til next year. Can start and do a little...it's the side of the hse. and have big trees there, so shady plants would do, so been poreing over garden catologs I'm still getting now. Dreaming.....

Better get rear in gear and finish up dishes and all. Have a great day, .

Dd just got home from her bf, M. He works for the county and rained out, so he was home and must've called.

haven't heard anything about db, yet, but am haveing positive thoughts.

Just checkin' in - hello gals!

Thanks for missing me Alphy!  I've just been feeling kind of melancholy and don't feel like I have much to add.

Just the same-old, same-old for me.  I work, come home, work some more, sit down, start snoozing and then decide to get ready for bed.

DD is getting ready for her next trip.  She is leaving for Philly tomorrow.  She will celebrate her 21st birthday there on Sunday.  She hopes to get to NYC during her visit.  Sounds like a really fun trip.  Wish I were going, but I wasn't invited LOL.

Next Wed. is my birthday.  DH called me today at work and asked if maybe I wanted to take next Wed. off work and we could do something.  He sounded so disappointed when I told him I couldn't take the day off because I have a meeting that day.  I'm just not enthused about my birthday this year and wish everyone would just forget it!

Yeah, we're a little cooler here today too.  Not in any way pleasant, but a little relief.  We had some rain last night.  I think I'm going to attempt to sit on the porch for a bit and see if it might bring my spirits up.  I've been feeling so cooped up lately.

come to Clarion and celebrate cookie, it is DH's birthday on Monday.  and do be enthused about a birthday...think of the alternative!  I remember when I was on chemo, and a dear friend of mine died very suddenly...I didn't like people to ask how I was, because I felt I would be okay, and I felt guilty for my dear friend who died...and a young friend of mine told me, when I told him that...you still have a purpose in life.  Sometimes I wonder what that is, but you, too, have  a purpose.  some times we just need to find it and revel in it.
