    Okay where is the recipe for the corn on the cover of the new Taste Of Home.

    That corn looks amazing. So am I missing something or is that recipe not in the magazine?

    Okay - The word back from the Test Kitchen is:

    The corn on the cob on the cover is sprinkled with one of the salt mixtures featured on page 11 of the issue. It can be found on TOH.com here:

    Orange-Smoked Paprika Salt

    Fresh and fragrant, a large pinch of this salt is the ideal flavoring for corn-on-the-cob. It’s also fun to use to rim a margarita glass.
    192 ServingsPrep: 15 min. + standing

    Ingredients

    • 3/4 cup kosher salt
    • 1/2 cup grated orange peel (from about 5 large oranges)
    • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

    Directions

    • Place all ingredients in a food processor; pulse until blended.
    • Transfer to a shallow dish. Let stand at room temperature 3-4 hours
    • or until dry, stirring occasionally. Store in an airtight container
    • in a cool dry place for up to 6 months. Yield: 1 cup.

    DD got hers today, so glad she subscribed. There are a lot of nice looking recipes in it this month.

     

    Has anyone tried that Cooler Corn idea? That looks neat for our  family reunion next week.  I don't have a new cooler though, and mine is kind of icky looking to put corn in it.

    After reading the snopes link no way would I try that idea. Not worth ingesting dangerous chemicals.

    Thank you! We will soon be getting amazing corn from a friend and will be trying this. Looks and sounds so yummy!
