Does she let you paint her nails after? LOL I've never painted my cat or dog's nails so I'm not quite sure how it's done...how to keep them still long enough for it to dry!

LOL, I don't know I've never tried it, or even thought about trying it. I'm just happy when she sits there and let's me file them. Some days, like today, it's a piece a cake. Other days her ADD is just too much for her to sit still long enough.
I wish mine would let me do their nails. Neither one will let me even trim the hair on their toes -- it looks like they're wearing dust mops because the hair on their legs is short, but it's long on their toes. LOL
My poodle used to lay on his back and go to sleep while I filed his nails with a regular nail file. Loved being brushed, too, and neither of the ones I have now will allow even that without a fight. Silly dogs.

Brat, Creek has those furry toes too. DH calls them "Hobbit Feet"! I've never thought about trying to trim them, it's too much fun tickling him when he's sleeping. *G*
Susie, No, he most definitely won't sit still for either the clipping or the filing. Thankfully, his nails don't grow as fast as hers do.

When Bailey came to live with me, he brought one of those as seen on TV nail filing gizmos. He would not let me use it on him.In fact he would not let me take the nail clippers to his paws either. It took a while to get him to understand 1 nail clipped = 1 treat. Now when he sees me get out the clippers, he jumps on the couch drooling for his treats - gotta love a lab that is ruled by his stomach
Karny has no issues with the nail clippers but she gets a treat per paw anyway because she is such a good girl..
