    Anyone taken it for pain?

It is an all natural pain reliever.  I took 2 yesterday afternoon, and I was amazed.  The rain is coming, and usually I am out for the count when that is happening, very painful time.  But yesterday I instantly noticed a difference.  Even in the night NO PAIN!

Beeje- I am looking into this product for my DSIL who is in extreme muscle and joint pain much of the time. I ordered a sample.

I Appreciate your post- I had never heard of this one. I will pass this on in Recipes as I have had a number of Pm's regarding joint pain and Hyaluronic Acid.

    What is Hyaluronic Acid?

I am reporting as I go on how this works, because the first sign of anything wrong, I will be reporting that also.

Right now all Ican say is, I hope it works as well for your SIL as it is for me.

I do still have some stiffness in the left leg, as it was broken in 3 places below the knee, and the ankle was crushed --- there is very little range fo motion in the ankle.   The first doctor I encountered teh day of the wreck told me they were going to have to amputate my left leg, as it was so damaged.  BUT 5 orthopedic doctors tried to experiment with my leg, and saved it for me.  Of course, through the years the pain has been so horrific, I have wanted to ask a doctor to amputate it, and get one of them S things to walk on.

I'm always happy when anybody finds something that keeps them out of pain.  Do keep in mind, however, that it's classified as a supplement and there are few regulations on manufacturing of supplements, according to some articles I read while killing time in a doctor's office.  Make certain also that you don't take a supplement that can negatively react with prescription medicines you might be taking.

I'm happy you're pain free Beeje

The only prescription medicine I take is a fluid pill.  I have taken that for years because fo the swelling in my left leg.  And if this works as well as it appears it will, I may be able to get off of that.  At 68 years old, I think that is marvelous!

Of course, I eat to keep all my vitals at a good place.

What OBB  stated is of course very true-I have worked in the Hospital for many years so  I have seen people abuse certain natural products  once leading to an almost Fatal GI bleed in an elderly Female patient .

This is generally due to  one undertaking  a regime of self medication with little or no knowledge of what they are taking.

Conversely............. constant pain is terrible to endure and makes it difficult to lead one's daily life or do the simplest tasks. Research is always good before taking any product .I will be keeping track of Beeje's progress with Curamin.

I had a fall down an icy hill and injured my hand -very painful and surgery was mentioned. The female doctor (a specialist in her field)  was non personable  (read Rude and Abrupt)

Very rough as well . She also held limited hope for good surgical results and recommended at least 4  200mg Ibuprofen every 4 hour on a regular basis.

.One visit to her office was all I was willing to tolerate.Zip it!

800 mg was too high a chronic dosage in my estimate. It can lead to a number of stomach problems etc I did not wish to endure.

I knew a lot about Hyaluronic acid ( I have read volumes on this)  and I started taking it  for my hand after the injury.

6 years now- no pain and no surgery. The pill also consists of Chondroitin and Collagen.Hyaluronic acid is also used by Dermatologists and Cosmetic surgeons-injected to enhance Facial contours and fullness as well as some other uses.

Before taking Curcurumin one should consult one's doctor. being all natural does NOT mean something is safe. Digitalis is all natural, so is nightshade and so are toadstools but nobody in their right mind consumes  those things.

Go to WEBMD.com and check out: Curcurumin side effects.

There have not been enough studies to say it is safe over the long run but some small clinical studies had th follwing results: most likely side effacts were nausea and diarrhea but it is very  likely that it can cause severe side effects and one should watch for: inetrnal bleeding (black stool) bruising, wounds that will not stop bleeding, it could also cause belleding strokes (brain hemhorrages).

If you take this, even if you :"just not feel right" while on it, tell your doctor so he can diagnose and find out what is wrong and treat you, Curcurumin is NOT completely harmless.
