The screen fell out of the sky light onto the kitchen floor. The poor budgies were quite frightned. It will probably take them all morning to calm down. At least they will probably be quiet and won't wake DH up. They are the noisiest and most vocal first thing in the morning.
And now I am off to mop the floors, take my shower, eat breakfast, and sit on the back deck with a cup of tea while i wait for DH to get ready.
Colossians 3:17, 23,24
Good morning. It's kind of nice so the windows are all open but I'm betting that we will turn the a/c on later. Really have a hard time sleeping when it gets too warm and they are still saying pretty hot starting Wednesday.
Glad Baby Boy is feeling good. It's so hard when they don't feel well they just can't tell us where it hurts.
Hope you can find something to help Gracie. Casey has figured out that she doesn't like to walk on our grass. Which makes sending her out in the morning a challange. Put a leash on her and walk to the park and she is all over the place. Wish she could tell us what is different about our grass.
RS that's how those people keep their jobs. They never really do anything just keep sending people here and there. Hope you get your answers today.
Nan a new garage frig will be so nice. I know you put a lot of fruit in it. Hate to have that all spoil. I don't care what the topic of the day is you always find the very best pictures.
It's Tuesday so Gary is headed to the hospital and I have the morning for sewing. I got two baby blankets pinned together just have to sew around them.
Guess I had better get busy. I know it's early but I'm moving kind of slow.
Hugs and prayers and scratches and treats for all those critters.
Hope everyone has a great day.
It was so pleasant sitting out on the back deck this morning. It was cool and sunny and the breeze was keeping the bugs away and the back yard is filled with colorful flowers and the bees were buzzing and the birds were singing and the butterflies were fluttering....I decided to stay put and let DH go pick up the refrigerator without me. I already paid for it over the phone and Sears had it ready for pick up..
I took lots of pictures of the flowers, especially all the colorful lilies and the bees and the butterflies.
Ooooh lookie there...yum, chocolate puddin'
I remember back in the day, when my grandmother made her chocolate pudding from scratch...it was so much better than the mixes. And for some reason I always liked the "skin" that formed at the top of the pudding better than the rest of it.
I think I might have been about twelve when I got my first bicycle...no training wheels, either. My dad held the bike for me while I "rode" it until I could balance myself, then you should have seen me take off. The bike had a basket on the front of it, so I could go to the grocery store (about two blocks away) and bring back the goodies in the basket. I just felt so grown up going to the store all by myself.
That basket was also used for taking my kitty for rides. I'd dress her up in my doll's clothes, and around the block we would go. I really think she had as much fun as I did. I still can't believe that a cat would let a person dress them up like that. You might see dogs dressed up, but hardly ever do you see a cat with clothes on.

That must have been quite a site, a little girl riding her bike with her cat in the basket dressed in dolls clothes.
I have dressed 2 of my ducks in outfits from my dress-a-goose statue.
