I don't know about expecting more, but they sure think it is okay to reach over and touch your curls, Drives me nuts!

I think I'll ask my youngest sister about that. She has naturally curly hair, and always hated it. When she was a lot younger she tried different things to try to straighten it, like using pop cans for curlers. My other sister and I thought she was being a little silly wanting straight hair, because the two of us have straight hair and we do all we can to make it curly. LOL
LOL!I think she may be right.
A lot of this is folk memories and cultural hangovers.
