I want to make a fruit sauce to go with cream puffs.
How do I take frozen berries and make a fruit sauce?

It's very simple, Tiggerz!! Just take some of the berries, a little lemon juice and a little sugar if they are unsweetened or you want it sweeter, and blend up in a blender! I do this all the time for a sauce over pound cake.

    Enjoy~

    Raspberry Sauce

2 (10 oz.) packages frozen raspberries in syrup
    juice of half a lemon
    1/4 C. sugar
    2 T. cornstarch
    1/2 C. cold water
1 T. Grand Marnier or other liqueur (optional)

Combine undrained berries and lemon juice in processor or blender; puree. Strain, pressing with back of spoon. Add sugar, cornstarch, water and liqueur to strained mixture; blend well.

Place in saucepan over medium heat; bring to boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat and continue stirring one minute. Remove from heat and allow to cool until ready to use.

(don't see why it couldn't be served warm if you prefer it that way)
