RE: alcohol slushies needed
Bourbon Slush
2 c. Whiskey
1 12 oz. can frozen lemonade 1 12 oz. can frozen pineapple (thawed)
6 1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
Mix together in a large container (there will be 13 1/2 cups) until sugar dissolves. Then pour into large freezer containers and freeze overnight. Store in the freezer. To serve: Fill a stemmed (wine) glass half full of the slush and fill the rest of the way with 7 Up or Sprite. I keep it in the freezer at the cottage in the summer and it's ready whenever guests drop in. It's very refreshing and yummy. I think you could probably use any kind of whiskey or maybe even rum. It might be fun to experiment. CHEERS!
