i wouldn't think so... club soda is flavorless and has no sweetener... although i guess it depends on what you're making. what kind of recipe are you thinking of?

I have a jello mold recipe that calls for ginger ale.
Also, sometimes I make frappe' (sherbet and ginger ale mixed), and never knew whether club soda would work.
    What is club soda for?
    False

I forgot to add...The jello mold recipe calls for ginger ale or water. So, I was wondering, if club soda would work too, since water is flavorless, and has no fizz.

Club soda is typically used as a mixer for alcoholic drinks.

I would think possibly you could substitute 7-up or sprite if you think the lemon-lime thing would work in your recipe. Even if you don't have Vernor's ginger ale where you are, you can probably get Canada Dry ginger ale or possibly a generic brand.
