RE: ***WELCOME to the CAREGIVER ROOM***
ATTENTION: SUSAN
I am coming here to answer your question about the size of pan. I did not know but I found this post and the lady has tried this with the 13x9 pan, so there you go!
Subject: REC & REV Pumpkin Swirl Squares mistake!

I read the recipe too fast and ended up using 3 eggs in the batter. I baked it in a 9 x 13 x 1 brownie pan, and it made the most delicious, moist, delicately flavored cake! I baked it about 10 more minutes to get it done, but it’s fabulous!! It baked up anther inch over the top of the pan intact.
Pumpkin Swirl Squares
Cream cheese mixture:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
Cake:
15-oz. can pumpkin (not pie filling)
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour an 11 x 10 x 1 jelly roll pan.
Combine cream cheese with sugar and egg. Set aside.
Combine pumpkin, 1 1/2 cups sugar, oil and 2 eggs, mixing until well blended. Combine dry ingredients. Add to pumpkin mixture and blend well.
Spread pumpkin mixture into pan. Spoon cream cheese mixture over pumpkin batter and cut through with a knife for marbled effect.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
------------
You can compare with the original recipe that Cittie posted.
Hugs, Germanlady

RE: ***WELCOME to the CAREGIVER ROOM***
GermanLady before I was ready to go to bed I saw 2 CGRooms, maybe some one did not know about the new one yet and glad I opened it because that recipe sounds so good. and saw your reply.
I never made a Jelly Roll so I do not have a pan like that.
How are you doing so glad to see you on the board?
I am feeling better again I was to sad it only lasts for a couple of days and then I am my old self a again.
Cella is doing well at the moment and she is still busy making scarves, I still can not believe with all the shaking of her hands that she does such good work on the scarves, and she loves doing it and makes her relaxed.
Need some rest bought a dual phone one for living room and one for kitchen, now I have to study how to program this, in the olden days we just bought a phone and just dialed out.
Take care and good night to anyone who still comes by tonight ^j^
Hugs Susan
