  • HOW MANY TABLESPOONS IN A STICK OF BUTTER/MARGARINE?
Extremely stupid question coming from me, because I've been baking 4-5 years. However, I'm not sure how many tablespoons are in 1 stick. I think it's 8 T, is this right? Want to cut a recipe in half....

    Thanks for any help!

Yes its 8 T. in a stick of butter/marg. Its right on the wrapper, marked 1 T. each, totaling up to 8. For half, its 4 T. One stick also is equal to 1/2 cup.

I always thought it was ALWAYS on the wrapper, but some brands don't have the markings for the eight TB.
