I am hosting a baby shower this coming Saturday and wanted to make the slushy punch. But, I wanted to make it pink for a girl. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

    Heres one from Angie:

    Title: Punch, Slushy
    Categories: Beverages
    Yield:

    2 cn Pineapple Juice
    1 cn Grapefruit Juice
    3 cn Crushed Pineapple
    1 Lime Jello
1 c Sugar (Or To Your Taste)
    2 Ginger Ale

Mix all ingredients except one bottle of Ginger Ale.
Freeze-take out a little while before ready to serve-pour half of the
bottle of Ginger Ale over the punch.
    Serves a lot.

My friend would always freeze it in a bucket-like a white (sort of like
    a 5 gal. bucket) bucket.
She had the room in her freezer.
I may have to make some room!

    Pink Pastel Punch

Use Ginger Ale (or) 7-up (2 2Liter Bottles) Chilled
    Raspberry Sherbet (1/2 Gallon)
    Mix in Punch Bowl.

This will fill a large punch bowl. Have more Soda chilled and add more sherbet when it gets low or runs out.
I have made this for showers and parties.

Lime or orange sherbet work great when needed.

1/2 of the water used to make kool-aid

    46 oz Pineapple Juice

    3 cups more water

Mix all together and freeze in baggies. Thaw slightly before serving. Serve slushy.

Angie, We loved this. My friend's asked for the recipe too. I made half the recipe. It does make a lot, but will be used up quickly.

Hi Ceal. I have made the Slushy Punch with Pineapple and it is good, yet sort of tart. If you need a sugar free recipe for punch Chefly made my slushy punch recipe with splenda and sugar free jello. I will post for you.

I also like the Strawberry Punch that I make-it is so good! The great thing about both are that you freeze ahead of time and use them when you need them. I love that part!

I hope that whatever you choose is a success. I am sure it will be.

    Hugs,
    Angie

    Slushy Punch

2 cans pineapple juice (1 lg. can)
1 can grapefruit juice (3 cups)
3 cans crushed pineapples 1-1/2 (20 oz.) cans, juice packed
1 lg box lime jello (1 small sugar free)
1 cup sugar (or to your taste) (1/2 cup Splenda)
2 bottles Ginger Ale (1 bottle 2 litres sugar free)

I brought a little pineapple juice to a boil and dissolved the Jell-O in it before combining with the remaining ingredients including 1/2 bottle of ginger ale.

Mix all ingredients except one bottle of Ginger Ale. Freeze-take out a little while (at least 30 minutes) before ready to serve-pour half of the bottle of Ginger Ale over the punch. Serves a lot.

My friend would always freeze it in a bucket-like a white (sort of like a 5 gal. bucket) bucket. She had the room in her freezer.

Very good flavor. I might try pureéing the pineapple next time, but it was very good with the pieces. It does freeze quite solid with the sugar free ingredients, but I just let it sit out longer and it was fine. chefly

The 2nd came from GoBigRedNE although it's called wedding punch I made it for DD's B-day party. I used cherry jello and it turned out wonderfully!! Will def. be using this recipe again. Thanks to you too

Here's a recipe that my cousin and his wife used at their wedding! I don't usually like punch but, this stuff is SO good! They used grape Jello to make it purple!

    Wedding Punch

3 big pkg. Jello (use any flavor, to achieve the color of punch you want)
    9 c. boiling water
    4 c. sugar
    1-16 oz. frozen lemonade
2-46 oz. Cans of Pineapple juice(unsweetened)
    2 qt. 7-up or Squirt

Mix jello, sugar and boiling water together. Cook till sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and add 4 c. cold water. When cooled, add frozen lemonade and pineapple juice. Freeze. Take out of the freezer 4 hours before serving and add 7-up or Squirt

    • Multiple rave reviews on this one. Definitely does not have to be just for Summer. Add a drop or two of red food coloring for a girl's shower and enjoy!

    SUMMER SLUSH~~ (alcoholic)

    2 cups sugar
    7 cups boiling water
    2 cups Tea
12 oz can frozen orange juice (undiluted)
12 oz can frozen pink Lemonade (undiluted)
    2 cups Gin Or Vodka

Mix all ingredients together and freeze. ( This does not freeze solid)When you are ready for a tall cold drink scoop out 1/2 to 3/4 glass full of "slush" and fill glass with 7 up or Ginger ale. Stir and top with a Maraschino cherry and/or orange slice if desired.

This recipe came from a co-worker and receives lots of compliments especially when I serve it on a warm Summer Evening. (Especially popular with ladies) , Even my Mother in Law who is pretty much strictly a Tea drinker requests this one which was a huge (and pleasant) surprise to me.
