Fizzlish thank you for posting your recipe. I will have to try it. I am looking for a very simple peach pie recipe that has flour, sugar, spices, etc. that forms a crust. I have seen one on here before but can't remember who posted it.

I have the same recipe. I wouldn't advise using peach pie filling. 1 large can or 2 smaller cans of peaches work really well for this recipe. You can use fresh peaches but you have to make alittle syrup for them. If I can find my recipe I will post it for you.

    Easy Peach Cobbler

    1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
    1 cup milk
    1 cup self rising flour
    1 cup sugar
1 (15-16 oz.) can peaches (sweetened)

Melt butter in bottom of 9 inch cake pan (round or square). Mix flour and sugar; add milk and mix until smooth. Pour into pan with butter. Pour peaches on top of the batter (juice and all). Bake at 375 until golden brown and center is firm (40 - 45 minutes).
