    COUNTRY ROASTED CHICKEN DINNER


    1 envelope Lipton ® Recipe Secrets ® Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix

    2 Tbsp. honey

    1 Tbsp. water

    1 Tbsp. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! ® Spread, melted

    5- to 6-pound roasting chicken

    3 medium all-purpose and/or sweet potatoes, cut into chunks




    1. Preheat oven to 350°.

    2. In small bowl, blend Lipton ® Recipe Secrets ® Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix, honey, water and Spread.

    3. In 18 x 12-inch roasting pan, arrange chicken, breast side up; brush with soup mixture. Cover loosely with aluminum foil. Roast 30 minutes; drain. Arrange potatoes around chicken and continue roasting covered, stirring potatoes occasionally, 1 hour or until meat thermometer reaches 175° and potatoes are tender.


    Note: If chicken reaches 175° before potatoes are tender, remove chicken to serving platter and keep warm. Continue roasting potatoes until tender.

    CRAB-STUFFED CHICKEN BREASTS


    1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened

    6 ounces frozen crabmeat or imitation crabmeat, thawed and drained*

    1 envelope Lipton ® Recipe Secrets ® Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix

    6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1-1/2 lbs.)

    1/4 cup all-purpose flour

    2 eggs, beaten

    3/4 cup plain dry bread crumbs

    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

    1 Tbsp. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! ® Spread




    1. Preheat oven to 350°. In bowl, combine cream cheese, crabmeat and Lipton ® Recipe Secrets ® Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix; set aside.

    2. With knife parallel to cutting board, slice horizontally through each chicken breast, stopping 1 inch from opposite edge; open breasts. Evenly spread each breast with cream cheese mixture. Close each chicken breast, securing open edge with wooden toothpicks.

    3. Dip chicken in flour, then eggs, then bread crumbs, coating well.

    4. In 12-inch skillet, heat oil and Spread over medium-high heat and cook chicken 10 minutes or until golden, turning once.

    5. Transfer chicken to 13 x 9-inch baking dish and bake uncovered 15 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Remove toothpicks before serving.


    *SUBSTITUTION: Use 1 can (6 ounces) crabmeat, drained and flaked.

    FRESCO MARINATED CHICKEN


    1 envelope Lipton ® Recipe Secrets ® Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix

    1/3 cup water

    1/4 cup vegetable oil

    1 tsp. lemon juice or vinegar

    4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1-1/4 lbs.)




    1. For marinade, blend all ingredients except chicken.

    2. In shallow baking dish or plastic bag, pour 1/2 cup of the marinade over chicken. Cover, or close bag, and marinate in refrigerator, turning occasionally, up to 3 hours. Refrigerate remaining marinade.

    3. Remove chicken from marinade, discarding marinade. Grill or broil chicken, turning once and brushing with refrigerated marinade, until chicken is thoroughly cooked.

    1/2 cup hot water




    1. Preheat oven to 425°. In broiler pan, without the rack, arrange chops. Brush both sides of chops with Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix combined with Olive Oil.

    2. Bake chops 25 minutes or until done.

    3. Remove chops to serving platter. Add hot water to pan and stir, scraping brown bits from bottom of pan. Serve sauce over chops.

    1 lb. uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

    1 cup water

    4 cups loosely packed arugula or spinach leaves




    1. In 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high and cook shrimp, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes. Add wine and 1 tablespoon lemon juice and cook 2 minutes. Stir in Lipton ® Recipe Secrets ® Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix blended with water and simmer 3 minutes.

    2. Stir in arugula and cook 2 minutes or just until wilted but still green.

    3. Remove shrimp mixture to serving platter and drizzle with remaining 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Serve, if desired, over hot cooked rice.

    2 Tbsp. Bertolli ® Classico ™ Olive Oil

    3 medium carrots, sliced

    3 ribs celery, sliced

    1 cup lentils, rinsed and drained

    3 cups water

    1 envelope Lipton ® Recipe Secrets ® Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix

    1 Tbsp. cider vinegar or red wine vinegar, (optional)

    Hot cooked couscous, brown rice or pasta




    1. In 3-quart saucepan, heat Olive Oil over medium heat and cook carrots and celery, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes.

    2. Add lentils and cook 1 minute. Stir in 2 cups water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 25 minutes.

    3. Stir in Lipton ® Recipe Secrets ® Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix blended with remaining 1 cup water. Simmer covered an additional 10 minutes or until lentils are tender. Stir in vinegar. Serve over hot couscous.

    1. Preheat oven to 375°. In 12-inch skillet, melt Spread over medium heat and cook mushrooms and green onions, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat and set aside.

    2. In 9-inch pie plate sprayed with nonstick cooking spray, arrange crescent roll triangles in a spoke pattern with narrow tips hanging over rim of pie plate about 2 inches. Press dough onto bottom and up side of pie plate sealing edges to form a full crust.

    2 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar

    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

    4 large onions (about 2 lbs.), thinly sliced

    1 extra heavy duty foil bag, regular size




    1. In large bowl, combine Lipton Recipe Secrets Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix, ketchup, brown sugar and oil. Add onions; toss to coat. Turn into foil bag. Double fold open end of bag to seal.

    2. Grill 25 to 30 minutes, turning bag over halfway through cooking. Serve on hot dogs, hamburgers or sausage sandwiches.

    Oven Method: Preheat oven to 450°. Place foil bag on large baking pan on bottom rack and bake 45 to 50 minutes, turning bag over halfway through cooking.
