I think Salvation Army's food shelves usually need extra help in the summer. How about using some and giving some?

    Dump Cake

    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 can cherry pie filling
1 yellow cake mix (2 layer size)
    1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 or 2 sticks butter or margarine, depending on how rich you like the cake.

Grease a 9x13x2 inch pan. Dump in the undrained pineapple and swirl it aroung to fill in the corners. Then dump in the cherry pie filling and push it around so it is almost even. Next comes the cake mix. Dump in the mix sprinkling it around to cover the pineapple and cherries. Sprinkle the nuts over the mix. Cut the butter or margarine in patties and place on top. Do not mix the ingredients. The dumping does it. Place the cake in 350 degree oven and bake an hour or until it's nice and brown. The cake does not rise. It looks gooey and it's delicous with ice cream

    PIE FILLING DESSERT

Make a graham cracker crust with:

    approx. 15 graham crackers
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter, melted

Pat into the bottom of a 9X13" cake pan.

Take an 8 oz. pkg. of Philadelphia cream cheese, softened, and with an electric mixer, beat with:
    2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar and beat until smooth.
Add a splash of vanilla (approx. 1/2 tsp. for those of you who will ask) and blend. Spread over the crust and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake in 325º oven for 15 - 17 minutes. Remove from oven and cover with 2 (21 oz.) cans *pie mix - cherries, blueberries, or pie filling mix of your choice. Cool in refrigerator over several hours or overnight. Serve with real whipped cream!!

*Note: Use two different flavors if you like. Mom and Dad almost always put blueberry pie filling on half and cherry pie filling on the other half!!

Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually add flour, beating well. Stir in flavorings. Pour into a lightly greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch jellyroll pan, spreading evenly. Lightly cut through batter with a small knife to mark off 24 squares. I wish I could find the recipe for you, but you take cookie dough and slice it. Place in a cupcake tin and in the center you will fill with pie filling. Top with either graham cracker crumbs aor another cookie round and bake.

I love the above recipe, but I just can't find it with all the remodeling mess here. All my books and recipes got moved. Hope someone can help you with the rest of the recipe....
