I enjoy making alot of homemade mixes. However, I haven't been able to find any recipes for popcorn seasoning or spices like you can buy in the stores. Do you have a recipe to share?

    ONION POPCORN:

Empty 1 envelope (amount for 4 servings) dry onion soup mix into small bowl. Stir with fork to distribute ingredients evenly. If onion pieces are very large, snip them into smaller pieces with scissors. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of the mix over buttered popcorn (reserve remaining onion soup mix for another batch of popcorn.) Toss well.

    GARLIC POPCORN:

Sprinkle buttered popcorn with 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt. Toss well.

    SEASONED POPCORN:

Sprinkle buttered popcorn with 1 teaspoon fine grained seasoned salt. Toss well.

    HICKORY SMOKED POPCORN:

Sprinkle buttered popcorn with 1/2 teaspoon Hickory smoked salt. Toss well.

    CINNAMON POPCORN:

Sprinkle buttered popcorn with 2 tablespoons colored sugar crystals; toss well. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Toss well.

I wonder if this would work.

A packet of cheese from a box of mac. and cheese mixed with salt and blend in a blender until fine.
Good luck and let me know if you try it.

I have used the cheese packet out of mac and cheese before and it seemed ok. The white one is good.
