This is a French's recipe that I just found. Sounds like a nice change of pace from the usual tuna noodle bake.

    Tuna Noodle Casserole
    Makes 6 servings

1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1 cup milk
3 cups hot cooked rotini pasta (2 cups uncooked)
1 can (12-1/2 ounces) tuna packed in water, drained and flaked
1-1/3 cups French's French Fried Onions, divided
1 package (10 ounces) frozen peas and carrots
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Cheddar or grated Parmesan cheese

Combine soup and milk in 2-quart microwavable shallow casserole. Stir in pasta, tuna, 2/3 cup French Fried Onions, vegetables and cheese. Cover; microwave on HIGH 10 minutes* or until heated through, stirring halfway through cooking time. Top with remaining 2/3 cup onions. Microwave 1 minute or until onions are golden.
*Or bake, covered, in 350°F oven 25 to 30 minutes.

You are welcome Janie. I think this would be a nice variation on the usual tuna dish. Plus I really like those fried onions in casseroles.

I love tuna casserole. I just mix up what I have on hand to make up my casseroles but Durkee's (now French's I think) onion rings always make it EXTRA nummy... I love to throw them on top of a lot of casseroles!

Has anyone tried the cheddar French's fried onions? I know they have been around for a while but I always buy the regular. If you have tried the cheddar ones what do you think about the flavor?

Kellycook, I really like the cheddar flavor. I just tried a tuna casserole and put crushed cheddar potato chips on it and it was delicious!
    Thank-you for your recipe.
