If you type olive garden salad into the search bar at the top of the page, then click on the Community tab below the bar, you will find several different copycat recipes.  Here's one of them.

This recipe came from Gloria Pitzer's (The Recipe Detective) pamphlet advertising her cookbooks. Have made it many times and think it is very close to the real thing.

    Olive Garden Dressing Imitation

    8 oz. Bottle Paul Newman’s Vinegar/Oil Dressing
    2 TBS grated parmesean cheese
    2 TBS Wishbone Italian Dressing
    2 Tsp Sugar
    1/8 Tsp Dry Mustard

Mix in blender on high until smooth. Toss greens with approximately 2 TBS & allow to set for 5 minutes. Makes 1 pint.

Note: It makes a smidge more than a pint, but after using it the first time, I can wash out the Newman's bottle and store it in that

-Pour the vinegar, lemon juice, and egg into a blender; blend for 10 seconds, then allow to rest for 10 minutes.
-Add remaining ingredients to blender and blend on low speed for 30 seconds.
-Chill at least 1 hour before serving, the longer the better.

    Notes:
Mixing the raw egg with vinegar and lemon juice will kill any Salmonella present. You can also buy pasteurized eggs at many supermarkets. Pectin can be found in most supermarkets near the Jell-O® or with the Mason® jars.

Serving Suggestions: Serve this dressing over mixed greens or use as a marinade for your favorite meat
