How appropiate to revisit this post today!! GOD BLESS AMERICA !!
A Thank You to all who have served and those who have given their lives to keep our Nation free. Today marks a victory to all those who hold freedom dear. Taking out Osama was a necessary step to help put a stop to the terrror he and others like him have imposed on people worldwide. Our nation must remain strong and viligient, so that other madmen do not continue to terrorize and kill innocent people here and abroad.
Again: GOD BLESS THE GOOD OLE USA
An apropriate day to remember this post and our military. Lynn would have been proud of our country today!

Blessed are those that can give without remembering and take without forgetting.
Including Lynn....Amen.
Thank you Nancy and Suzy for bumping this up....I had forgotten about this post but not about Lynn. I think of her often and miss her emails and BB posts.
I thank God I got to know her.
Time to bump this up again....it's getting lost in the archives.
Thank you military, past and present, for all you do for our freedom....it comes with a price. Hats off to the families, too, who sit at home and wait for their loved ones to return.
God Bless America
I open this link this morning, thinking of all our troops, both past and present, giving thanks to all those who have given their lives, limbs and sacrificed for this country. I also think about those who dealt with the wars and fighting, mentally not being being able to battle the demons they have forever implanted in their minds from images or injuries and in the end have committed suicide due to the wars. They sacrificed and their families have sacrificed, I pray for them all and yet give thanks to all they have done for us, praying for the families left behind. As I opened I thought of our own dear Lynn in Cabot who has since passed, her humor and before her, her young nefew who gave his life in the early months of the Middle East War, those amongst many that we miss and have in our thoughts. May God Bless them all, praying for the families waiting, may they all come home to your open arms soon. Connie
