After having scalloped potatoes for a fund raiser and having leftovers we would like to know if they could be frozen and used later. I thought NOT with the milk and potatoes they'd be watery and not taste right; but that's just my thoughts. Has anyone tryed this? Thanks
Yes you can! We did this at the restraunt several times. But what we did with the leftovers was to put them into a corn chowder. Our church just did a big banquet, and with the leftover ham, veggies, and scalloped potatoes, they are going to turn that into another fund raiser, just with soup and buns, as they have a good start on the soup already. I am not sure how they would hold up to bake again for a side dish though.
I put them in soup all the time too, any kind of soup.
