I'm making a bread that calls for 4oz of cheddar cheese and 2 oz of parmesan cheese. Would anyone know how many tablespoons that would be.
Here are the equivalents:4 ounces = 1 cup shredded cheese2 ounces = 1/2 cup shredded cheese~~Vicki
Sargento packages our products by weight, not by volume. A package labeled as 8 ounces weighs 8 ounces. We also give the corresponding cup (volumetric) measurement for ease in recipe use. A package of shredded cheese that weighs 8 ounces fills a 2 cup measuring cup. Although there are 8 ounces in a liquid cup measure, 8 ounces in weight will not always yield the same cup measure. Eight ounces of shredded cheese equals 2 cups; four ounces of shredded cheese equals 1 cup.

Thanks so much everyone. Now I can carry on with my baking.
Very much appreciated.
This makes me want to ask:
How many out of 100 people on "Recipes" have a small scale in their kitchen?
Just curious
