There are many sauce/glaze recipes out there, including a line of Jack Daniels' sauces. But, none taste like the TGIF's Jack Daniels' Glaze on their Flat Iron Steak, and other steak. I bought a couple jars of Tastefully Simple's Bayou Bourbone Glaze and now, of course, it's discontinued. I'm addicted to this sauce! Anybody have one that tastes close to the above-mentioned?
I love the Jack Daniels Glaze at Friday's as well! Here is a recipe I found on the web, I hope you can use it.
JACK DANIELS GLAZE
1 cup pineapple juice1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce1 tablespoon garlic powder1/2 cup Jack Daniel's whiskey2 cups brown sugar2 beef bouillon cubes1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce1 tablespoon onion powderDirections:
In a small sauce pan, combine the pineapple juice,whiskey, brown sugar,beef bouillon cubes. Worcestershire sauce. onion powder. garlic powder and Tabasco sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Allow to cool and use as a glaze on any grilled meat.
