The normal old no-bake recipe only without cocoa? Someone told me she leaves out the cocoa and uses half white sugar and half brown.
I tried that and it didn't set up very well, but maybe it was the humidity. It was really wet and humid here yesterday.
Do any of you make a recipe like this without the cocoa and does it set up everytime?
I used my old recipe of:
2 c sugar-(used half white and half brown)
1/2 c milk
4 T cocoa (omitted)
1/2 c butter
4 T peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 cup quick oats.
Boil sugar, milk, coco and , butter for 1 min. Add peanut butter, vanilla and oats. Drop on wax paper.

NO BAKE OATMEAL COOKIES
Boil 1 minute: 1 stick margarine, 2 C sugar & 1//2 cup milk,
Add 2 C quick-cooking oatmeal, 1/2 C coconut & 1/2 C coarsely chopped pecans
Drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper or greased cookie sheet.
NO BAKE CARAMEL COOKIES
Boil 1 minute: 2 C sugar, 3/4 C margarine and 1 can (6 oz) evaporated milk
Add: 1 box instant butterscotch pudding and 3 1/2 C quick-cooking oatmeal.
Remove from heat and stir thoroughly.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper or greased cookie sheet. Let cool 15 minutes before eating.
It has been a long time since I have made these 2 recipes as we usually do the
NO BAKE CHOCOLATE COOKIES.
My recipe for NO BAKE CHOCOLATE COOKIES is different than yours.
NO BAKE CHOCOLATE COOKIES
Boil 1 minute 1 stick margarine, 2 C sugar & 1/2 C milk
Add 3 T cocoa, 3 T peanut butter, pinch of salt, 1 t vanilla & 3 C quick-cooking oatmeal
Drop by teaspoonfuls on wax papper or greased cookie sheet.
I make them all the time :)
Peanut Butter No bakes
2 cup sugar
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
3\4 cup-1 cup peanut butter
3 cups oatmeal
Mix sugar milk and butter together. Cook over med-high heat until it boils. Boil and cook for 1 to 1-1/2 minutes. Remove from heat and add peanut butter (did I mention that it has to be Jiff? lol) stirring until melted. Add vanilla and oatmeal, stir and drop on wax paper. Let cool.
