2 1/2 cups peaches
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 cup sugar
6 tblps. butter
1/3 cup flour or cornstarch
Simmer all ingreients until thick. Pour in bottom of iron skillet. Top with cobbler and bake.
1 cup self rising flour
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
Mix and pour over fruit. Bake at 350 until brown and bubbly. I bake mine 25 minutes. Serve with ice cream.
This sounds soooooo very yummy; peach cobbler is one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing. I've never made it in an iron skillet - plan to try it.
I love this! I have a similar recipe that I use for camping - it calls for a touch of ginger in the biscuits. Delish!
This sounds delicious. Could you substitute apples. I have several apples sitting around I would like to use, and also I canned peaches last year. Would this work?
Apples could totaly work! If you have any on hand, drizzle caramel over it when you serve. So decadent! So delicious!
