    Lemon Ice Cream

    3 Tbsp FRESH lemon juice
    1 c granulated sugar
    1 pt half and half
    2 tsp grated lemon rind
2 drops yellow food coloring (optional)

    Blend all ingredients well.

Pour into a cake pan, glass loaf pan -or ice tray without the removable inserts.

    1 cup heavy cream

COMBINE undrained Maraschino Cherries and juice, sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, lime peel and food coloring, if desired, in large bowl; mix well.

WHIP cream in medium bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until stiff peaks form. Fold into cherry mixture.

POUR into 9 x 5-inch loaf pan or 2-quart freezer-safe container. Cover; freeze until firm; or overnight.

    Oh Yum!

I passed up an ice cream maker at a yard sale last weekend as I have absolutely no more room! So these recipes are perfect.

Thank-you Skip! Hope all is well with you & the Mr.

Hi Rosie, I've been eye-ballling this recipe for a little while now and was hoping you didn't mind if I added it here.

I had found this originally in an ad in Everyday Food, but found the original on the Kraft site here~

    Hey Skiparoo~

How fun going to a bbq, I'm so glad you can get out & about. Wes will be able to go too, right? Have fun!!

Now you can go to yard sales...lol. Just bought 6 brand new placemats & 4 napkins for $5.00. Not a great price but the placemats I've been looking at are $3.00 each, so I'm happy.

    Have a great weekend too!
