Summer officially starts this week and nothing makes me think of summer more than graham crackers! That's right - whether they're in a crust or on the outside of an ooey gooey s'more, you can't seem to have summer without some graham in your hand!
Have fun with these this week - step outside the box a little and use your imagination to see what you can come up with.
So - here are the rules:
a) "New to you recipes" count toward the challenge.
b) The recipe can be anything to do with graham - crackers, crumbs, cookies, crust. I'm sure there's a form I'm not thinking of, LOL.
c) HAVE FUN and BE INSPIRED!!!!!!!
Post your new recipes and reviews (good, bad & ugly) on the Cook's Challenge Recipe thread:

This ones going to be a little bit more difficult for me as we hardly EVER have graham crackers. We like them, just don't buy them. I'll have to look around a bit Sue. It seems like I saw an interesting one just recently but though~ nah! Lol.
Oh, one was a ice cream!
Can't wait to see your guy's ideas!
What about graham flour? I make bread using it.
Ann
Ann I'm not sure - I mean graham flour and graham crackers are two different beasts. To be honest, until right now I didn't even know there was such a thing as graham flour. My understanding is that it's kind of a whole grain wheat flour.
I almost feel like it'd be like substituting pork for sausage, they're not the same thing but sausage can be made from pork. Know what I mean?
Anyone else have thoughts on this? I'm really not that fussy, I'm just not convinced these are the same ingredients.
G m all,
Jillie,it was the ice cream recipe you added to my "ice cream no maker required post". Btw it sure looked yummmmy.
Sue,when I saw The Jammin for Graham,I thought you meant flour.Did`nt even think of graham crackers.I thought this is gonna be one skimpy collections of recipes.Lol.I`ll go back to bed now and start over.Lol.
Now I got it.

Rosie
LOL isn't that funny! I'm so surprised by that!
Hi,
I vote yes on graham flour, mainly because when I was looking for a graham cracker recipe a lot did use the graham flour. Will you ever have a challenge with that type of flour anyway?
You have the final say so though.
Rosie, all those ice cream recipes sounded so good!
az_jillYou have the final say so though.
It makes zero difference to me darlin', it's really up to you guys. These challenges are all about helping you guys get back in the kitchen & try something new. Break out of that cooking rut we all get into and use some of those recipes we have tucked away in our "to try" piles.
